Life On Purpose is a student-focused initiative by Alpha Canada aimed at helping young people explore their values, purpose, and impact on the world. Daphne Creative collaborated closely with Alpha to ensure the visuals, storytelling, and production remained consistent with Alpha's well-loved course offerings, maintaining the quality that audiences had come to expect. As a media-driven nonprofit, Alpha’s emphasis on visual consistency was key to the success of the series, with our team crafting a visual narrative that spoke directly to students in a way that felt authentic and relatable.
Our approach emphasized collaboration and authenticity. Working alongside students, we ensured that the content was filmed from an eye-level perspective, fostering a sense of connection rather than hierarchy. This "eye-to-eye" filming approach allowed students to share their experiences genuinely, ensuring the course felt relevant and accessible. The unexpected global reach, with subtitles and use in non-Western countries, showcased the flexibility and universal appeal of the project.
